Aroma : Spicy with a light touch of vanilla. Aromas of stewed fruit.

Taste : Long and powerful on the palate, and smooth with persistent tannins. Rich in ripe fruit. Heralds an excellent future.
 
Aging potential : 8 to 10 years.
 
Percentage of alcohol : 12%.
 
Serving : Perfect with game (venison) and other strong red meats, such as boar and deer.
Vintage 2001 : Silver Medal at the concours de Bruxelles 2003.

Winemaking
Careful selection of premium quality grapes from old vinestock. Grapes are vinified whole and seperately prior to being blended. Part of the wine is then matured in oak casks for eight to ten months prior to being bottled.
